As a long-time Marvel Snap enthusiast and someone who’s been following this game since its inception, I can confidently say that October 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting month for us players! The We Are Venom season promises new card drops, limited-time events, and more rewards – all things that make my heart race like a Hulk rampage.
As a gamer, I’m super pumped about what’s coming up this October with “We Are Venom” season from Second Dinner! They’re going all out, with fresh card drops, an exciting limited-time event in High Voltage, and even more enticing rewards! Plus, since it’s the game’s second anniversary, the developers have some special surprises in store to mark this occasion. Can’t wait to see what they have planned!
Already, they’ve revealed that an Anniversary log-in event will go live later this month, but before that takes place, the first wave of Anniversary rewards will be announced for Snappers on iOS devices. Second Dinner has partnered with Apple to distribute a new Anniversary reward available for a limited time, which should see decks unleashing their inner Wolverine!

In a recent update from the game’s News segment, Second Dinner unveiled their fresh batch of Anniversary gifts, accessible to players for a set period only. The initial offering is an electrically boosted card back showcasing a fragment of 8-bit Wolverine, dubbed “Celebr8bit”. This exclusive item can be obtained from the in-game Inbox between October 7th and October 13th, 2024.
Users with iOS devices can retrieve the card by installing the game and logging in with either their Apple ID or Google account. The card back, which should be found in the Inbox to claim, is required. It’s important to note that Second Dinner mentioned that the Wolverine “Celebr8bit” card back will become accessible on other platforms at a later time for those who couldn’t initially claim this reward.
Apart from the “Celebr8bit” card back, another one named “Celebr8bitpool” (for Deadpool) is also joining Marvel Snap during the upcoming Leagues event starting on October 11th, 2024. This event will coincide with other fantastic Anniversary rewards! Players who participate in this special anniversary Leagues event can collect the “Celebr8bitpool” card back as a reward. Additionally, the top three Snappers in each League will receive the Devil Dinosaur and Moon Girl “Games!” variant cards.
