SCRIPTED ADAPTATION

As a dedicated fan of Israeli television, I can hardly contain my excitement about the Georgian adaptation of “Bloody Murray”. Having followed this delightful series from its inception, I can attest that its blend of humor, romance, and relatable characters has left an indelible mark on my heart.

It appears that the Georgian version of Yes Studios‘ comedy “Bloody Murray,” titled EbMaster, is set to debut on Cavea+, Georgia’s first streaming platform. The series revolves around roommates Murray, an expert in romantic comedies, and Dana, a gynaecologist who frequently butts heads with Murray over a shared interest.

For the very first time, an Israeli scripted television series has been adapted for broadcast in an Eastern European nation. Additionally, it’s been picked up by CBC in Canada and Arte in France and Germany. At present, work on Season 2 is underway.

The show ‘Bloody Murray’ was developed, scripted by Stav Idisis, and brought to life by both Yes TV and Kastina Communications. Yes TV holds the worldwide rights for the series’ recordings and concept.

Sharon Levi, the managing director at Yes Studios, expressed gratitude as ‘Bloody Murray’ is pioneering and will be the initial Israeli series to be adapted in Georgia. “Cavea+ has shown tremendous trust in our captivating production,” she stated. “We firmly believe that the show’s unique combination of heartwarming humor, romance, and relatable characters will resonate strongly with audiences, leaving them eager for more.
