Adin Ross demands huge payment from Jack Doherty to get unbanned on Kick after car crash

As a seasoned gamer who’s seen it all, I must say, the drama between Adin Ross and Jack Doherty is something straight out of a reality TV show. The stakes are high, the cars are expensive, and the personalities are larger than life!

Internet personality Adin Ross has set high financial terms for Jack Doherty, requiring a substantial sum of money in exchange for being reinstated on the platform Kick, following an incident where Ross crashed his expensive McLaren during a live stream.

On October 5, 2024, Jack Doherty was live-streaming himself from reality as he drove his McLaren 520S supercar along a wet highway.

In a moment, he found himself unable to steer the vehicle any longer, resulting in a collision with a close-by safety barrier. Doherty stepped out of the damaged car to evaluate the situation, then instructed his bruised and bloodied cameraman to keep recording.

After the incident, Jack’s access to the platform was permanently restricted, as multiple users on various social media platforms shared that the ban seemed to be ongoing.

During a live broadcast, co-owner Adin Ross indicated that the ban on Doherty from the Stake-owned platform might be permanent following an incident, however, he suggested a method by which Doherty could potentially have the ban lifted.

Friend, let me make this clear: To regain access to Kick after the ban, you’ll need to cover a fee of $200k. I thought it would be best for you to know this upfront. If you wish to be unbanned on Kick, that’s the price you’ll have to pay.

“To have your ban lifted from Kick, you need to provide me with $300,000 in cash. If you can’t do that, your suspension will be permanent. Consider getting yourself banned on Twitch instead.

Adin Ross also hit out at the streamer for putting his cameraman in danger.

He appeared distressed when he learned his cameraman had been hurt, and instead of showing concern, he pointed the camera towards the injured person and demanded ‘take those shots.’ He then vowed, ‘I’ll ensure that cameraman is compensated for this mishap.’

Apart from Adin, other creators also criticized Jack Doherty following his accident. For instance, fellow streamer xQc labeled him as “braindead,” and Nadeshot, the founder of 100 Thieves, advocated for his removal from monetization on all platforms.

Additionally, some unexpected events unfolded on Kick this past weekend. To start off, rapper Kodak Black initiated a live stream that left his viewers stunned. He showcased his car being engulfed in flames, a spectacle that sparked shockwaves not only on Kick but also across various social media platforms.
