As a dedicated fan of this captivating anime, I can hardly contain my excitement for Oshi no Ko Season 3! The intriguing blend of mystery, reincarnation, and child popstars has had me hooked since the very first episode. After eagerly waiting through the second season, I was overjoyed to learn that a third season has been confirmed!
Following an incredibly engaging second season, there’s been quite a buzz about Oshi no Ko Season 3, and here’s what we currently know.
One of the top-tier animes currently available is Oshi no Ko. Its unique blend of a complex murder enigma and characters who are reborn as child popstars has been steadily gaining a devoted fanbase throughout its two seasons.
As we approach the final chapters of the manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, fans are eagerly asking if there will be additional episodes. Can we expect further developments from Studio Doga Kobo?
We have answers to your questions, though our delivery might not be as graceful as Ruby and Aqua’s.
Is Oshi no Ko Season 3 confirmed?
In October 2024, shortly following the finale of Season 2, it was officially announced that Oshi no Ko would be returning for a third season. This announcement was made through a brief teaser trailer, which also included some fresh promotional artwork.
Although a specific date for the next season’s release hasn’t been announced yet, considering the pattern of past seasons, it seems likely that we might expect new episodes to air in the year 2025. The show initially debuted in April 2023, and its second season followed in July 2024.
We’ll keep this space updated when new information rolls in.

It’s short but sweet, there to deliver good news and get us excited for what’s coming. And it does that rather well!

In the upcoming season of Oshi no Ko, we anticipate that the original voice talent will stay consistent. This includes Takeo Ōtsuka playing Aqua and Yurie Igoma voicing Ruby. For now, no alterations are anticipated beyond introducing new characters. Here’s the current roster of actors:
- Takeo Ōtsuka as Aqua
- Kent Itō as Gorou

Where can you watch Oshi no Ko Season 3?
The upcoming third season of “Oshi no Ko” is set to stream on Hidive, with its parent company Sentai Filmworks having been in charge of distribution since its initial release.
It’s not expected that this situation will shift unless an event occurs with Hidive. Currently, it’s accessible in the UK and US, offering a variety of engaging shows like “Plus-Sized Elf” and “I Parry Everything.
Is Season 3 the last season?
It’s unlikely that Oshi no Ko Season 3 will be the concluding season, considering the number of chapters remaining to be adapted. Previously, Season 2 spanned over 40 chapters, and as of now, there are approximately 72 chapters left unadapted, with more expected in the future.
If Doga Kobo remains committed to the television format, the anime series “Oshi no Ko” is expected to span four seasons, with approximately 80 chapters being covered in total across the last two seasons. However, this assumes no changes in their approach.
The buzz surrounding Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle might encourage other production companies to adopt a cinematic approach for their final episodes as well.
Currently, there’s at least another exciting season ahead of us. Don’t forget to check out our guidebooks for upcoming seasons of Dragon Ball Daima, Solo Leveling Season 2, and Sakamoto Days! Enjoy!
