On October 4, 2024, it’s confirmed: Princess Diaries 3 is officially underway! Anne Hathaway announced the news on Instagram, revealing that Adele Lim will be directing the third installment. In a video she shared, Hathaway and Julie Andrews can be seen, with Hathaway counting down from three before exclaiming, “Shut up!” We’ve been eagerly waiting for this update, and her caption says it all: “Miracles happen ✨👑.” She continues, “Back to Genovia with @adeleblim @disney @somewherepictures. In a statement to Variety, Lim expressed immense enthusiasm about contributing to the third installment of the cherished ‘Princess Diaries’ series.
