Warzone map rotation glitch lets you play Rebirth Island permanently

As a seasoned Warzone gamer with countless hours under my belt, I can’t help but feel like a kid in a candy store when it comes to this Rebirth Island trick. It’s like finding a secret backdoor to the playground, skipping the long line for the swing set, and landing right on the monkey bars every time!

As an avid gamer, I’ve stumbled upon a clever tactic in Warzone that enables me to bypass the map rotation in the Resurgence mode and consistently play on Rebirth Island. This way, I can skip over Vondel and Fortune’s Keep without any waiting time!

Among various Warzone maps, it’s generally agreed that Rebirth Island stands out as a top favorite, particularly in fast-paced Resurgence battles on smaller maps, due to its wide appeal among players.

Towards the end of September, Raven Software made some adjustments to their playlist, taking away several options as they gear up for Black Ops 6. As a result, the Battle Royale now only offers Solos and Quads, while Resurgence has Duos and Quads available.

Participants promptly voiced their annoyance over these alterations, finding the choice to eliminate numerous playlists particularly vexing, given that there were still several weeks until Black Ops 6 and an even longer wait for its integration into Warzone.

However, if you’d rather skip playing other maps and always load into Rebirth directly, here’s how you can accomplish that:

  1. Wait until the Resurgence rotation shifts to Rebirth Island — this can be duos or quads, whichever you prefer and play more often.
  2. Load into the map.
  3. As soon as you get into the game and the countdown starts, back out.
  4. Do the same again: load in and immediately pull yourself out.
  5. You should now have Resurgence Rebirth Island as your ‘Last Played’ on the menu.
  6. Select this at any time, regardless of the rotation timer, to only get Rebirth Island lobbies.

If you’re more inclined towards Fortune’s Keep or Vondel, feel free to focus on any of these locations without needing to play the others. However, it’s worth noting that Rebirth tends to be the most favored among many players.

Keep in mind, however: selecting another game mode may overwrite Rebirth Island as your most recently played one. This means you’d need to perform the trick again if you wish to replay it.

As I type this, it’s still uncertain what specific events will occur upon the merging of Warzone with Black Ops Cold War, and when this fusion might take place remains undetermined as well.

Typically, about three weeks following the release of the primary game, we’re looking at mid-November. This is when the updated Area 99 map is anticipated to debut, eventually replacing Rebirth. However, this switch isn’t likely to be met with enthusiasm by many players.

At the moment when I’m writing this, Raven Software hasn’t fixed the persistent Rebirth glitch yet, but there’s a chance they might do so in the future. Therefore, take advantage of it as long as it persists!
