Jack Whitehall Lands Prime Video Christmas Special Featuring Dave Bautista, Rebel Wilson and Michael Bublé (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned movie critic with a penchant for all things humorous and a soft spot for British comedy, I must say that the upcoming Christmas special “Jack in Time For Christmas” has piqued my interest like a well-timed Christmas cracker. Jack Whitehall’s knack for blending scripted comedy with unscripted travelogue is as intriguing as a Yule log on a snowy evening, and the prospect of seeing him navigate the chaos of Christmas while stranded in the U.S. is enough to make me want to book my own ticket.

Jack Whitehall will spread holiday joy on Amazon Prime Video for the very first time, as they’ve officially announced a Christmas special starring the renowned British humorist and performer.

“Jack’s Arrival for Christmas” – this heartwarming production is a joint effort between Workerbee (a Banijay UK company) and Whitehall’s Jackpot Productions. The show will make its global debut on Prime Video in December, featuring an assortment of esteemed guests such as Michael Bublé, Dave Bautista, Rebel Wilson, Jimmy Fallon, Daisy May Cooper, and Tom Davies.

The upcoming show is a mix of scripted comedy and real-life travelogue. In this production, actor Whitehall (known for his roles in “Jungle Cruise” and “Clifford the Big Red Dog”) gets stranded in the U.S., with only four days left before Christmas to return to the U.K. As the clock ticks, he embarks on an exciting adventure that includes various modes of transportation such as planes, trains, huskies, and bobsleighs. As the description suggests, well-known personalities pop up at opportune moments to assist (and sometimes complicate) Jack’s efforts to reach home in time for Christmas, adding to the festive chaos.

At a special Amazon Upfront event in London on Wednesday, ‘Jack in Time for Christmas’ was unveiled, along with two other comedies. The lineup for its British branch was also revealed.” (Paraphrased)
