As a die-hard Heartstopper fan who’s been through the rollercoaster of emotions since Season 1, I can’t help but feel like I’ve aged a decade waiting for this moment. The wait has felt like an eternity, but finally, our beloved series is set to return on October 3, 2024!

Hooray! We’ve made it through the longest wait for a TV series (or it seems like forever)! Here’s when you can finally stream Heartstopper Season 3 on Netflix.

Given that another season of Heartstopper was given the go-ahead swiftly following Season 2, it’s no wonder that the wait for Heartstopper Season 3 has felt like an eternity. Netflix tends to be patient with their releases, and Alice Oseman’s blockbuster series is no exception to this rule.

Nevertheless, it’s reassuring that they are taking their time to deliver a top-notch performance. In Season 2, Charlie was on the verge of confessing his feelings for Nick, but at the very last moment, he hesitated due to apprehension.

Rest assured! The heartwarming emotions continue to fill the screen in the captivating TV series. With everyone eagerly awaiting the next chapter, let me tell you when Heartstopper Season 3 is scheduled for release.

Heartstopper Season 3 release time

Season 3 of Heartstopper is coming to Netflix on October 3, 2024 at midnight Pacific Time (3am Eastern Time). You won’t have to wait; every episode will be available right from the start.

If you’re in different regions, here’s what those times will look like for you:

  • 12am PT
  • 3am ET
  • 4am Brazil
  • 8am UK
  • 9am Central European Summer Time
  • 12:30pm India Standard Time
  • 5pm Australia
  • 7pm New Zealand

The reason we’ve had to hold off on releasing new episodes until October is quite clear. Since Season 3 starts in autumn, it only makes sense that the release would align with the actual season.

Just like Seasons 1 and 2, the release patterns have been consistent. Season 1 was premiered during spring, fitting with its narrative, and Season 2 came out in summer. If we’re fortunate enough to have Season 4 (Netflix, if you’re listening), it would be logical for a winter debut, considering the seasonal theme.

How many episodes are there?

In the third season, there are a total of eight exciting episodes. If you’ve been diligently following along or sneak peeks have given you an advantage, you’re already aware of their enticing titles.

Our latest installments are called:

  • ‘Love’
  • ‘Home’
  • ‘Talk’
  • ‘Journey’
  • ‘Winter’
  • ‘Body’
  • ‘Together’
  • ‘Apart’

Did you know that just ‘Love’ and ‘Journey’ were explicitly named as chapters in the graphic novels? The other titles are implied through the storyline, but they weren’t officially penned down.

However, you can easily guess what’s to come if you know Nick and Charlie’s journey.

Heartstopper cast

The main characters, headlined by Joe Locke and Kit Connor, are returning once again for another round. Joining them this time are newcomers Hayley Atwell and Jonathan Bailey, but unfortunately, Olivia Colman won’t be reappearing.

To jog your memory, here’s our core cast:

  • Kit Connor as Nick
  • Joe Locke as Charlie
  • William Gao as Tao
  • Yasmin Finney as Elle
  • Corinna Brown as Tara
  • Kizzy Edgell as Darcy
  • Tobie Donovan as Isaac
  • Jenny Walser as Tori
  • Rhea Norwood as Imogen
  • Leila Khan as Sahar

Additionally, we’ll see Fisayo Akinade as Mr. Ajayi, Nima Taleghani reprising his role as Mr. Farouk, and Bradley Riches appearing as James, all in less significant roles this time around.

It’s unfortunate but clear that Olivia Colman won’t be back as Nick’s mother in the upcoming series; however, there’s a new addition to the cast: Hayley Atwell. She will play Nick’s Aunt Diane, who takes him on a trip to Menorca and offers some wise guidance about Charlie’s eating disorder.

Additionally, you’ll find Jonathan Bailey appearing in a single episode as historian Jack Maddox, while in the comic book series, his persona is named Henry.

Tori also gets a love interest this time around, with Michael played by Darragh Hand.
