Venom 3 Knull casting ‘revealed’ – and it’s not Norman Reedus

As a long-time Marvel fan who has witnessed the evolution of the universe on the silver screen since its inception, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing the news that Andy Serkis will be playing Knull in Venom: The Last Dance.

In a recent update, it appears that the upcoming Venom 3 movie will introduce Knull, the being responsible for creating symbiotes. The possible casting for this character seems to have been hinted at in a fresh report.

As a gamer, I’m psyched about Venom 3, titled “The Last Dance,” which wraps up Tom Hardy’s thrilling anti-hero saga. My alter ego, Eddie Brock, and his chatty symbiote buddy find ourselves in deep trouble once again, this time on the run from both government agents and extraterrestrial beings, as we land back on our home planet.

It’s yet uncertain if there will be a Spider-Man 4, but the latest trailer unveiled the arrival of a significant Marvel antagonist: Knull, the deity of darkness and the creator of symbiotes. This character possesses immense power, capable of overpowering Thanos.

Initially, he made a brief appearance in the trailer, yet viewers couldn’t identify who portrayed him. Previous speculations, though unsubstantiated, hinted at The Walking Dead’s Daryl Dixon actor, Norman Reedus, but if the latest reports hold, it’s an entirely different individual playing the character.

According to DanielRPK’s report, Andy Serkis will portray Knull in the upcoming film “Venom: The Last Dance”. It is also suggested that he may appear in other Marvel productions in the future.

It appears that this scenario aligns with a commonly held expectation: Venom 3 might not heavily feature Knull, and his screen presence may be minimal. This situation could pave the way for the next Spider-Man film, or if Sony’s universe intertwines with the MCU, it could culminate in Avengers: Secret Wars.

As a gamer, I find the casting of Serkis intriguing for two primary reasons. First off, he’s no stranger to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having played Ulysses Klaue in Age of Ultron and Black Panther. Second, he’s the mastermind behind the director’s chair for Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

That certainly looks hopeful, especially concerning the voice acting and acting skills. I’m curious if there will be more Venom films or if he’ll be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This decision might spark differing opinions among many – however, in my opinion, it’s a fascinating move, particularly if they opt for motion capture technology. Other potential projects could possibly involve Spider-Man 4.
