As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say, the news about Palworld coming to mobile devices is nothing short of exhilarating! Having grown up playing games on everything from Game Boy to PlayStation and now transitioning seamlessly between console and mobile, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia mixed with anticipation.
In simple terms, it means that Palworld will be available on mobile devices, as the developers of PUBG Mobile are working on the adaptation under a fresh contract signed by their parent company, Krafton.
A few days after Palworld’s secret release on PlayStation, it has been confirmed that this hugely popular survival game will also be available on mobile devices. On October 2nd, Krafton revealed a new licensing agreement with Pocketpair, signifying a partnership that allows for a mobile version of the game.
Guided by the development team at PUBG Studios, the adaptation aims to “accurately recreate and integrate the enjoyable aspects from the original game to suit the mobile platform,” as a simpler translation of the announcement suggests.
It’s still quite early in the development process for the mobile version, so fans shouldn’t expect it to be released any time soon. However, it’s clear that Palworld is growing and has no intentions of fading away. Despite its ongoing issues with Nintendo, it seems determined to keep expanding its presence.

Recently, just a few weeks ago on September 19th, I found myself caught up in an unexpected storm. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company filed a joint lawsuit against Palworld developers, PocketPair. While many have compared their smash-hit game to various Pokemon due to visual resemblances, this lawsuit isn’t about mere design elements.
Rather than our original statement, it’s important to note that, according to legal counsel, the core issue in this lawsuit is the accusation of patent infringement by both Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. This primarily concerns the gameplay systems under scrutiny.
PocketPair took some time to get back to us, stating that they hadn’t been informed about the particular violations mentioned in the lawsuit until later.
Regardless of the heavy burden, developers vowed to persist and “strive with all our might for our fans, and work tirelessly to support indie game creators in expressing their innovative ideas without obstruction.
After the lawsuit, Palworld has been a significant presence at the Tokyo Game Show and unexpectedly debuted on the PlayStation 5 as well. Moreover, they’ve announced plans for a mobile version, indicating that the studio is indeed following through on their promise to provide ongoing support.
