Evolution: Extinction has been released as of September 13, 2024. You can play it on PC via Steam, and on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. The game was created by Spikewave Games and published by Astrolabe Games. Being a part of the PlayStation China Hero Project, it received developmental assistance from Sony’s PlayStation team.
Evotinction Gameplay
Evolution is essentially a “future tactical stealth simulation game,” where the focus lies on being unnoticed rather than getting into physical fights whenever possible. Players find themselves commanding a technologically adept yet non-combative scientist in this game.

Evotinction Story
In the near future, humans live with Genies at their command, allowing them to dedicate their time and efforts to more important tasks and ventures. However, a virus of unknown origin invaded the network of an isolated, self-sufficient research facility and community located underneath the Himalayas.
The virus subsequently invades the sophisticated AI network controlling the complex, causing the AI-controlled beings (Genies) to malfunction and turn aggressive against their previous human supervisors.
As Dr. Liu, a system designer, you’re tasked with covertly penetrating the facility, navigating past the chaotic robots, and reaching the heart of the complex to uncover and remedy the underlying problem. Along the way, you should also strive to locate and save any potential survivors who might be trapped inside the complex.
