In the game The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, you can collect cats! These aren’t items that give you special abilities – they’re just hidden throughout the game, and this page will help you find them all.
Once you’ve returned to the Kingdom of Huther with Faie during the Age of Safekeeping, you’ll encounter the Ailurophilic Traveler – a character who absolutely loves cats! He’ll give you rewards for finding cats throughout the world of Philabieldia, across different time periods. You can easily spot him in each of the game’s four main cities, as he wears a cat-eared hood.
Okay, so there are a total of 50 cats hidden throughout The Adventures of Elliot! The good news is you can’t actually miss any of them – I can come back and hunt for them whenever I want if I’ve skipped one. Just a heads-up though: three of the kitties don’t show up until pretty late in the game, near the end. And some others are locked behind quests, so I need to finish those before I can snag them all.
Okay, so listen up! If you really want to unlock the true ending in this game, you absolutely have to find a ton of cats. Seriously, go out of your way to collect them whenever you see one – it’s totally worth it!
This list of cats follows the same order as our complete walkthrough for The Adventures of Elliot, and generally, you’ll be able to find them in this order as you play the game. If you collect all the cats, you’ll unlock the Katzenmeister trophy or achievement.
Note: The reward for turning in 5 cats is the Cat Needle, which says it will help point you to other cats in the world. However, it does not actually do anything until we obtain the Magic Compass, earned in the Age of Magic. Once you do obtain both the Cat Needle and Magic Compass, then Cat icons will appear on both the mini-map and full in-game map, allowing you to seek out Cats much more easily.
