The game The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is clearly inspired by The Legend of Zelda. Instead of collecting Pieces of Heart, Elliot finds Shards of Life. Collecting four shards restores a bit of his health, working much like the health system in Zelda. As you explore the world of Philabieldia, be sure to search for these helpful power-ups!

The Millenium Tales features a total of 60 Shards of Life, but don’t worry – you won’t miss any! The game helpfully shows you the locations of unopened chests and Shrines of Life on the map, making them fairly easy to find. However, this page provides a complete list of all 60 Shards of Life and their exact locations.

Life Shards are hidden inside Shrines of Life. Each shrine contains a small challenge – either a puzzle or a group of enemies you need to defeat – to get the shard. This guide won’t explain how to complete these challenges because they’re generally straightforward.

This list of collectible shards follows the same order as our complete guide for The Adventures of Elliot, and generally reflects the sequence in which you’ll find them during a typical game. Our full walkthrough also includes helpful hints for solving the puzzles found at each shard location.

A small note: Don’t pay attention to Elliot’s total health in the screenshots below. I originally found the shards in a slightly different order than I listed them here, which I rearranged for efficiency, so Elliot’s total health may not line up exactly with the number of shards collected.
