Ironmouse becomes most-subscribed Twitch streamer ever after flying past Kai Cenat

As a long-time gamer and follower of the VTuber community, witnessing Ironmouse shatter yet another record has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. I remember attending her subathon back in 2023 when she hit that impressive 205k milestone, but this latest feat is simply mind-blowing!

The well-known virtual YouTuber, Ironmouse, now holds the title of Twitch’s most subscribed streamer following her surpassing Kai Cenat’s earlier record of approximately 306,000 subscribers.

Every year, Ironmouse, a VTuber from VShojo, organizes a significant fundraiser called a subathon. The funds raised are then split in half, with Ironmouse donating this amount to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

During her live streaming marathon in June 2023, she broke a record by gaining 205,000 new subscribers. However, she didn’t start this year’s event until September 1, 2024. Since that time, her subscriber count has soared, placing her at the top of the Twitch streamer rankings for most subscribed channels.

On September 23, Ironmouse surpassed Kai Cenat and Jynxzi who were streaming among the stars, to claim the title of the streamer with the most active subscribers. However, she didn’t slow down there; she also overtook Ninja and Ludwig’s records for all-time subscriber count, which stood at 269,154 and 283,066 respectively.

Currently, Ironmouse surpassed Kai Cenat’s prior Twitch subscription record of 306,621, making her the most subscribed Twitch streamer at present.

Overwhelmed by the encouragement from her community, Ironmouse emotionally expressed her affection towards her fans. “All I wish is to impress you and create countless more moments together,” she conveyed.

Her chat erupted with cheers the moment she broke Kai’s record, and even VShojo expressed their backing on X. (or)

VShojo enthusiastically acknowledges that Ironmouse has broken the top spot for all-time Twitch subscriber records!

Shortly after breaking his previous record, Kai Cenat succinctly stated, “A new record has been set,” accompanied by an illustration.

Despite holding the record for the most-subscribed Twitch streamer ever, the exact number is still undisclosed at this moment. According to her stream, the Virtual YouTuber plans to keep streaming as part of a subathon until the countdown concludes, which is estimated to be around October 6, 2024.

Despite running smoothly for a while, the subathon has encountered some troubles. Towards the beginning of September, the VTuber announced that YouTube had removed her VOD (Video On Demand) channel because of copyright concerns. Shortly afterwards, her primary channel also faced suspension.

They both have since been reinstated after she brought in legal counsel to combat the suspensions.
