A recent announcement has confirmed that the free “Mercenaries” DLC, which was initially teased in December 2023, will soon be available across all platforms! Let’s gear up and dive back into the world of Wanzer combat!
Forever Entertainment also debuted a trailer alongside the announcement.
According to the initial announcement, the upcoming update titled “Mercenaries” promises to introduce unique single-player scenarios with 15 fresh playable characters. These scenarios are designed to offer a variety of challenges and feature unexpected elements such as different types of terrain and combat-relevant tiles.
Additionally, it incorporates a local multiplayer feature known as the “hot seat” mode, allowing two players to engage in opposite battles on a single device.
During his critique of the remake of Front Mission 1st:, Quinton complimented the game’s maps and combats. However, he noted that occasionally, the game appears to function as its own obstacle or adversary.
The game titled “Front Mission 1st: Remake” can be played on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The “Mercenaries” update is set to release for free on October 3, 2024.
