Chris Hemsworth May Not Be Done With Thor Yet

It gets harder to drastically change your body for roles as actors get older, but it’s still possible. After all, Hugh Jackman got back into incredible shape for Deadpool & Wolverine even though he’d previously retired from the role in Logan seven years ago.
It’s important to remember that nothing is set in stone for anyone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now. We saw Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans appear to finish their roles after Avengers: Endgame, but they’re both coming back for Avengers: Doomsday. Since Marvel Studios has already changed its plans by dropping Kang as a major villain, it’s impossible to predict what will happen with these veteran Avengers.
Chris Hemsworth has previously mentioned that Thor needs a refresh in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, feeling that Thor: Love and Thunder went a bit too far with comedy. If Marvel wants to give Thor a powerful, conclusive story similar to Logan, the original Thor director, Kenneth Branagh, could be the right person to direct it.
