She stated that West had struggled for years with serious dental infections and kidney issues, including blood in his urine. While his health had gotten much better recently, over the past two years, he continued to deal with these long-standing problems.
She explained that she focused on sharing the good parts of his life and experiences because she didn’t feel it was necessary to share every difficulty or health problem publicly. She felt his story was much richer and more complex than what people saw on social media.
