As a seasoned gamer and manga enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the recent announcement about Jujutsu Kaisen reaching 100 million copies in circulation is nothing short of breathtaking! Growing up with the classics like Dragon Ball Z and Naruto, it’s truly awe-inspiring to witness another phenomenal manga achieve such heights.
Although the Jujutsu Kaisen manga has concluded its story, it recently made headlines with an impressive accomplishment.
Almost at hand now is the conclusion to the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, a decision that’s stirring up discussions within the fan community. Yet, regardless of whether fans find the ending fulfilling or not, it remains a fact that this manga has become one of the most widely read in recent years.
Presently, this manga consists of 28 books, with Volume 29 and 30 set to be published by the end of this year. Given its debut in 2018 as a relatively fresh series, it has seen an incredible surge in popularity following the airing of its anime adaptation in 2020.
Before the official announcement of the last chapter, it was confirmed that JJK had reached a significant sales target.
On October 4th, a brand new guidebook will be released, for which all current authors and editors at the Wall Street Journal express their gratitude to Gege. The manga series has now reached an impressive milestone of 100 million copies circulating under the title #JJK271.

According to a leak posted on X or Twitter, the “Happy Announcement” referred to selling 100 million copies of the game.
Just last week, Shonen Jump hinted at a significant revelation, sparking excitement among fans who anticipated news about Part 2. However, there were some skeptics who speculated that the announcement might turn out to be something less exciting, like a popularity poll. Nevertheless, JJK reaching this milestone in such a short span of time is definitely something worth celebrating.
To date, just 22 mangas, which include modern hits like My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer, have sold more than 100 million copies. Yet, the news has sparked a variety of responses among fans.
One fan wrote, “Understandable. 100 million copies is awesome! Concepts that sell well have the best chances of renewal / continuations / more merch lines etc etc.”
Another individual expressed, “I don’t pay attention to others’ opinions, the recent chapters might not have been great, but JJK will always hold a special spot in my heart.
A third individual remarked that, despite MHA’s announcement about a popularity poll, many of us tended to remain cautiously optimistic.
