Silver Lining Interactive and Sunny Lab have revealed that their game, The Witch’s Bakery, will be released in August for PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

Embark on a magical RPG adventure as you play Lunne, a young witch who’s opening a bakery in modern Paris. After a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign and gaining over 150,000 wishlists on Steam, the developers are excited for The Witch’s Bakery to become a beloved, cozy indie game.
A Symphony of Magic: Collaboration with Cécile Corbel
Okay, gamers, HUGE news! I’m seriously excited to share that the developers have teamed up with Cécile Corbel, the amazing composer who actually worked on a Studio Ghibli film – The Secret World of Arrietty! If you know her work, you know she creates these incredibly beautiful, dreamy soundtracks. And now, she’s bringing that same magic to The Witch’s Bakery! I just watched the trailer from the Cozy Game Awards, and let me tell you, the music is gorgeous. It’s going to make exploring Lunne’s Paris feel even more special and enchanting – seriously, it’s like stepping into a Ghibli film!
A Tangible Touch of Magic: The Physical Edition
As a big fan of The Witch’s Bakery, I’m so excited to share that it’s finally getting a physical release! That means I can actually own the game on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and even the new Nintendo Switch 2! It’s awesome to be able to display and collect something you love, and this lets us do just that. Pre-orders are open now through Silver Lining Direct and at some local stores for £29.99, $34.99, or €34.99. I’ve already put mine in!
