A gamer in China is going viral online after a video showed him continuing to play a game even after someone poured hot water on him.
The saying ‘no pain, no gain’ really hit home for one gamer in China while he was playing Delta Force at an internet cafe.
A video circulating online shows a man playing the video game Delta Force at an internet cafe when a server brought him a drink. The video originated on Chinese social media and has since spread to platforms like Instagram and X.
The woman unexpectedly dropped the tray, and hot water splashed all over the man, who was deeply focused on his game.
Most people would have given up and sought relief from the discomfort, but this man remained intensely focused, persevering and never taking his eyes off the screen.

RT reports that the waitress attempted to assist the man, but he didn’t respond and kept walking.
“Ah, get up quickly!” she urged after burning the man. “Sorry, my bad. I burned you.”
Not deterred, the gamer told her to “nevermind” as he was in the middle of playing.

“Don’t worry about it,” the man said, dismissing her offer to get ice and simply asking for a fresh drink. He was too focused on winning his game to be bothered.
A video of the incident quickly spread online, getting over 4 million views on a single post on X. Instead of quitting the game, many other players praised the man’s persistence and dedication.
