Universal Studio Group Ups Jonder Ho to Senior Vice President of Business Affairs (EXCLUSIVE)

His journey from a law associate at Morrison Foerster to the head of business affairs at a VR content startup and now, to the senior vice president of business affairs at Universal Studio Group, is nothing short of inspiring.

Additionally, they will serve as a direct point of contact for all pertinent parties, both inside and outside the studio, spanning across areas such as development, ongoing programming, casting, production, legal matters, and beyond.

More recently, Ho held the position of Vice President of Business Affairs at Universal Television, a division of USG. For the past eight years, he’s been part of this studio, under the leadership of Chairperson Pearlena Igbokwe.

In their role as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs at USG, Ho will communicate directly with Blossom Lefcourt, who heads Global Business Affairs at Universal Studio Group.

Lefcourt stated that Jonder has been an invaluable resource for Universal Studio Group. He’s now taking on a broader responsibility. For the last eight years, Jonder has skillfully negotiated significant talent and program agreements that benefit everyone involved and contribute to our impressive lineup.

Before moving to NBCUniversal, Ho had a two-year tenure as the head of business affairs at a VR content startup founded by Robert Stromberg, an Oscar-winning production designer known for “Avatar” and “Alice in Wonderland.” He started his career as an associate at Morrison Foerster law firm.

Ho earned his undergraduate degree from Pomona College and later went on to receive his law degree from the University of Southern California.
