Okay, so Takis is doing something awesome! They’re finally making a bottled hot sauce based on their Fuego chips – you know, that amazing fiery flavor we all love. As a gamer who snacks a lot, I’m definitely excited about this!
Takis, famous for their fiery Hot Chili Pepper & Lime chips, is now offering that same intense flavor in a new hot sauce. The 5-ounce bottle packs a serious punch, and this launch is Takis’ first step into selling condiments beyond their usual chips and snacks.
Over the last few years, Takis have become incredibly popular in convenience stores throughout the US. While they’ve added new snacks like popcorn and nuts, their original Fuego flavor remains the most well-known.
Takis launches first-ever hot sauce at Family Dollar
The sauce will first be available at Family Dollar stores starting June 8th, and then will be sold on Walmart’s website later in June.
Family Dollar already sells several Takis snacks, like Takis Popcorn and Takis Hot Nuts, so it makes sense they’re the first store to offer this new product.

This sauce captures the popular taste of Takis Fuego chips, blending fiery chili pepper flavor with a zesty lime kick. Fans have been making their own versions or mixing the chips with hot sauce for years, so an official bottled sauce is something they’ve been asking for a long time.
This trend shows snack companies are increasingly branching out beyond their usual products, now offering items like sauces, seasonings, and special grocery products that feature the flavors people already love from their snacks.
Popeyes is now selling its famous biscuits as boxed baking mixes in grocery stores, including a special Cajun Cheddar flavor. This move is part of a growing trend of restaurant chains expanding their products into retail locations.
