As a seasoned Monster Hunter, I can tell you that the Wudwuds of the Scarlet Forest have adapted to their ever-changing environment with a remarkable resilience. Their lives are a dance with danger, constantly on the move and always alert. It’s a harsh world they inhabit, but it seems they thrive in it.
At Sony’s State of Play event held on September 24th, Capcom unveiled that “Monster Hunter Wilds” will be making its debut on February 28th, 2025. This upcoming installment in the Monster Hunter series is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
In the latest sneak peek for Monster Hunter Wilds, we see a greater focus on narrative cutscenes as players will have a more significant part to play. This time, the main character they’ve created becomes more involved in the storyline. The trailer also introduces several brand-new monsters. One of these is Uth Duna, a fascinating creature with wings that can submerge underwater.
Instead of a tense confrontation with a formidable adversary, the trailer shifts to a calmer, verdant setting where players fish and wander leisurely under a radiant blue sky. However, the tranquility doesn’t last long as the trailer quickly returns to the fray with more tumultuous scenes; even the palicos join the Hunter in battling a new monster, Quematrice, which looks like a cockatrice and makes its debut in this game for the first time.
At last, the concluding moments of the latest Monster Hunters trailer reveal their main beastly adversary: the enigmatic character known as The White Wraith. However, its official title is Arkveld.
