As a seasoned gamer who vividly remembers the thrill of the original Soul Reaver games, I can hardly contain my excitement! The remaster of these timeless classics is not just a trip down memory lane, but a chance to relive the epic conflict between Kain and Raziel in stunning new visuals.


It appears that remakes of the classic Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver games have accidentally been made available early on PlayStation Network, complete with a promotional trailer. These revamped versions are set to launch on December 10th, with both Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr collaborating on the project.

As a passionate fan, I can’t contain my excitement about the upcoming Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered! This bundle is being released to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary and offers two fantastic games in one package. The best part? The final moments of the trailer hint that the remastered version is exclusively coming to PS4 and PS5. This suggestion is that it might be featured during the State of Play Presentation in September 2024. There’s a chance that the remaster may also be launched on other platforms such as PC, Switch, and Xbox.

In July, a statue of Raziel and Kain from Soul Reaver: I & II Remastered was exhibited at San Diego Comic-Con, which seemed to suggest the remaster had been confirmed. Yet, shortly after news spread online, the placard was taken down and Dark Horse Comics remained tight-lipped about it.
