As a seasoned gamer with countless hours logged in Dead by Daylight, this latest development has me more than just excited – it’s electrifying! The Community Voting stage for the Design A Cosmetic contest is finally here, and I can hardly contain my anticipation.
The Dead by Daylight Design a Cosmetic Contest is currently underway in full force, as Behaviour Interactive has selected both the survivor and killer finalist designs. Now, players have the opportunity to choose from their preferred designs, with the winners of the vote ultimately deciding which outfits will be incorporated into the game.
It’s now up to you, the one reading this – it’s your turn! The Community Voting period has begun with great excitement. You have until September 26th, 5PM ET, to exercise your power and cast your votes. We can’t wait to see which options will make their way into the game during this round!

Previously, game developers decided on winners without much fan involvement. However, here’s the good news for us gamers – this time around, our votes matter!
To show your preferences for your top picks, simply complete the community voting form given by Dead by Daylight. You’ll select three favorite survivor costumes and three favorite killer appearances from the available options. The voting period concludes on September 26 at 5 PM ET, so don’t forget to submit your vote promptly to make sure it is counted before the deadline!
Beyond the character skins chosen by fans for inclusion in the game, developers have also announced they will be introducing an additional outfit for Haddie Kaur as a survivor. Since Behaviour couldn’t reach the finalist, they posted a notice asking for help in locating them – expressing their desire to incorporate this cosmetic feature into the game if found.
Originally contacted, the submitting party was informed that instead of three, we’d receive four survivor outfits as a result of the Cosmetic Contest. Yet, it seems plausible that only three new killer outfits will be included.
We encountered some questions from you, and there was actually a Haddie Finalist whose responses resonated with everyone here. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to get in touch with the person who submitted it. If anyone can help us find them, we’d be thrilled to include this entry in our game.
