Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan build is god-mode for solo players

As a seasoned Destiny 2 player with countless hours under my belt as a Titan, I can confidently say that the Electrifying Assassin build is a breath of fresh air for our class. It’s like Bungie heard our cries and decided to give us a taste of the limelight before Episode Revenant drops.

At last, Titans in Destiny 2 have something to celebrate! A powerful build utilizing The Final Shape’s adaptable Prismatic subclass demonstrates that Titans haven’t completely sunk into obscurity.

In Destiny 2, Warlocks and Hunters have been ruling the roost in both PvE and PvP, boasting numerous outstanding builds. Unfortunately, Titans, or the resident tank, seem to have taken a backseat in the game’s meta. Players have been vocal about the need for adjustments, and Bungie intends to address this with the release of Episode Revenant by providing much-needed buffs.

In the meantime, before we have something else ready, let’s give the “Electrifying Assassin” setup a try as a temporary solution. Content creator Azetecross managed to reach Wave 22 of Onslaught solo using this configuration in a video published on September 22, coming very close but ultimately falling short due to not meeting a time-based goal.

To clarify how everything functions, according to the loadout on Mobalytics for your build, these are the abilities, aspects, and fragments you should prioritize:

Abilities

  • Thrust
  • Catapult Lift
  • Frenzied Blade
  • Shackle Grenade

Aspects

  • Consecration
  • Knockout

Fragments

  • Facet of Honor
  • Facet of Dawn
  • Facet of Protection
  • Facet of Ruin
  • Facet of Purpose

In this scenario, your main goal is to collect and preserve the unique resource that only Prismatic can access, thanks to Transcendence’s damage resistance and dual-element grenade feature. The Khvostov 7G-0X, a top-tier primary weapon and Exotic, stands out due to its efficiency in rapidly increasing Transcendence and generating numerous Orbs of Power for crowd control.

In simpler terms, the move called “Wild Style” is typically paired with “Disorient Grenades.” This combo is useful for temporarily incapacitating numerous opponents, making it smoother to cast “Consecration” afterwards. Since “Consecration” is a close-combat skill, employing it will cause the “Knockout” effect, which in turn activates “Solar Ignitions” and “Amplified” on enemy deaths. The “Amplified” aspect also restores a portion of your health whenever you eliminate an enemy, offering vital longevity.

To enhance your capabilities even more, equipping an item from the Exotic class with Spirit of Assassination and Spirit of Contact will grant invisibility and shock enemies after powerful melee attacks. Healing is available through Knockout, but it might not be sufficient to offset incoming damage, so you might need to rely on Spirit of Assassination for disengagement and recovery.
