Although we don’t have information on the number of controllers or Portals that will be manufactured, it’s clear that only a specific quantity of PS5 Pro models will be produced in this classic design. Specifically, only 12,300 units of the PS5 Pro console are being built. Given that there are over 60 million existing PS5 consoles and more being sold daily, owning one of these 12,300 variants is quite rare.

On September 22, a seller on eBay attempted to capitalize on the trend by listing a PS5 Pro bundle for an extraordinary price of $9,999.00. However, it was just an “attempt to purchase” the console, not a guaranteed sale, and the aim was simply to acquire the product.
Hours later, the listing was pulled from eBay as it went against eBay’s User Agreement policies.
This upcoming week promises to be quite busy and eventful for PlayStation enthusiasts. On September 26th, the special 30th anniversary equipment will become available, and moreover, pre-orders for the PS5 Pro are scheduled to begin as well.
As a passionate fan, I’m fully aware that swift opportunists will snatch up items priced way beyond their original value, only to resell them at an exorbitant markup on secondary marketplaces in no time.
