Hypergryph and Gryphline have announced a major update for their free-to-play game, Arknights: Endfield, called ‘Sketches of Lost Heirlooms‘. The update will be available on June 5th for PC, mobile devices, and PlayStation 5.

The latest update for Arknights: Endfield introduces two new characters – Camille and Mi Fu – along with a new region, story content, and the Contingency Contract game mode. GRYPHLINE announced today that a free update for Arknights: Endfield, called ‘Sketches of Lost Heirlooms,’ will launch on June 5, 2026. This update continues GRYPHLINE’s dedication to expanding Arknights: Endfield, incorporating player feedback, and improving both the action combat and the factory-building aspects of the game with new story content and gameplay enhancements.

New Region & Story Content

The ‘Sketches of Lost Heirlooms’ update expands the world of Talos-II, revealing the ancient ruins of Sword Vault Dale. Players will explore these broken and floating landscapes as part of a new story campaign, working with the Wuling Watch to uncover the secrets of the ‘Lost Heirlooms’.

New Characters

The ‘Sketches of Lost Heirlooms’ update introduces two new characters, each offering players fresh abilities and different ways to play the game.

Mi Fu is a new playable character arriving on June 5th, and she plays a key role in the game’s story. As the captain of the Wuling Watch, she’s on a mission to get revenge on her former leaders, which is explored in the ‘A Fistful of Reflections’ event. In battle, Mi Fu is a quick and powerful Physical Guard who can string together up to four normal attacks, as well as her special skills and ultimate ability, for continuous, high-damage combos.

Camille is a dedicated investigator for Seš’qa, brought into the game later in the update. He specializes in solving crimes within the organization. His unique event, ‘Danse Macabre,’ tasks players with unraveling a dark criminal case that begins with a mysterious blood sample. In battles, Camille functions as a Heat Vanguard, focusing on speeding up his team’s ability usage and boosting their combo attacks.

New Game Mode

The popular, highly customizable hardcore challenge mode, Contingency Contract, is now available in Arknights: Endfield. This mode lets players control the difficulty level and offers the ultimate endgame experience for strategic players. By choosing specific modifiers—Test Criterion and Key Criteria—players encounter a changing set of advantages and disadvantages on the battlefield. Winning requires constantly adapting your strategy and team, not just having stronger operators.

Quality-of-Life & Gameplay Improvements

The ‘Sketches of Lost Heirlooms’ update for Industrial Automation adds ‘Backup Power’ to prevent factory shutdowns during power outages. It also includes an automated system to clear blockages in production lines for various recipes, making factory management much smoother and easier.

This update includes several popular improvements to make managing your gear and resources easier. You can now craft multiple items at once with Bulk Artificing, quickly break down weapons in batches, and manage your locks more efficiently. Plus, a new “Perfect Match” label helps you find exactly what you need when farming for essences, saving you time in menus.

This update includes improvements to the user interface, making it easier to use. You’ll now get better warnings when enemies attack from off-screen, and you can smoothly switch between controllers and keyboard/mouse in any menu.
