Players of the game Tomodachi Life are collaborating to create every Pokémon as a Mii character. This community project hopes to compile a complete collection, dubbed the ‘National PokMiiDex‘.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream launched on April 16th, letting players enjoy the quirky life simulation series once again. Players can create and customize Mii characters, design their own island, and observe how the island’s residents interact.
Nintendo announced that players can design Mii characters to look like anyone they choose – friends, family, or even fictional characters. Fans have enthusiastically responded by trying to recreate a wide variety of people and personalities.
The trend has now reached Pokemon fans, with one player creating a huge spreadsheet to store Mii characters representing every Pokemon in the official Pokedex.
Hey Pokémon fans who play Tomodachi Life! I really enjoyed creating Pokémon characters as Miis for my latest Nuzlocke challenge, so I’m building a spreadsheet with a Mii for every Pokémon. If you’ve made your own Pokémon Miis and want to share them, please use the form linked in the replies!

Tomodachi Life fans start National PokMiiDex project
SquidSlayerNate shared a project on May 19th detailing a spreadsheet they created after enjoying making Pokémon characters, called Miis, in the game Tomodachi Life during a recent challenge run.
Someone announced they’re creating a spreadsheet featuring Mii characters inspired by every Pokémon, and are asking other fans to share their own Mii creations via an online form.
The PokMiiDex spreadsheet is designed to hold information for all 1,025 Pokémon. It includes columns for each Pokémon’s Pokédex number, species, a custom nickname, the creator’s name, and an image. A recent screenshot showed 44 Pokémon entries completed, including Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur, all given the nickname ‘Onion’ and credited to a user named SquidSlayerNate.
At the time of writing, 108 unique species of Pokemon have been added to the spreadsheet.

Ever since then, people have been sharing their own Pokémon creations as Miis. One fan made a Skitty Mii with pink hair and cat ears, and another posted a whole collection featuring Pokémon like Roserade, Meloetta, Kirlia, Probopass, Blaziken, Krookodile, Umbreon, Glaceon, and Ferrothorn.
People also created designs based on Pokémon like Slither Wing, Porygon, Annihilape, and Ultra Necrozma, among others.
SquidSlayerNate shared that the project was gaining momentum, with new entries being added to the spreadsheet in groups. They also announced the form had received over 200 responses and encouraged fans to check the spreadsheet to see if their submissions were included.
