As someone who has been deeply immersed in the Valorant community for years now, I can’t help but feel a sense of relief and admiration when I see the relentless efforts Riot Games is putting into maintaining a fair and cheat-free gaming environment. With over 3.6 million accounts banned since its release four years ago, it’s safe to say that Valorant’s anti-cheat system, Vanguard, is not messing around.

According to the most recent report, Riot has revealed that their anti-cheat system, Vanguard, had blocked approximately 3.6 million accounts by August 2024 since Valorant’s launch four years prior. This equates to a ban being imposed roughly every 37 seconds.

This increase may be linked to the launch of digital editions of Windows 11, as at this time, ensuring Secure Boot or TPM 2.0 became crucial for compatibility, potentially explaining the spike in restrictions.
