As a die-hard fan of the gritty and gripping world of “Industry”, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the news of its fourth season! Having navigated the tumultuous waters of the City of London’s finance scene myself, I can attest to the raw, unfiltered portrayal that this series offers.
The TV show “Industry” has been given the green light for a fourth season by HBO, with the announcement being made only about two weeks before the Season 3 finale, set to premiere on September 29th.
For three consecutive seasons, ‘Industry’ has fearlessly delved into themes of ambition and class, establishing itself as a standout HBO drama. Thanks to the unique perspective of creators Mickey and Konrad, this gripping exploration of London finance has reshaped what it means for a contemporary workplace series. We’re thrilled that both viewers and critics have praised season three as bigger and better than ever, largely due to exceptional performances from our exceptionally talented cast. According to HBO, the third season of the show has an average of 1.6 million viewers per episode, watched across all platforms. This is nearly a 40% increase compared to Season 2. Over the past five weeks, the viewership has ranked among the top five strongest performances that the show has ever had.

The official description of Season 3 states:
Looking towards the future, Pierpoint decides to heavily invest in ethical ventures. This move places Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) at the forefront of Lumi’s high-profile Initial Public Offering. Lumi is a green tech energy company headed by Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington). The narrative unfolds through the realms of finance, media, and government, showcasing their significant roles. After departing from Pierpoint, Harper (Myha’la) yearns for the exhilaration of finance once more and unexpectedly teams up with Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager at FutureDawn.
Alongside Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Miriam Petche, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel, Irfan Shamji, Andrew Havill, Roger Barclay, Fady Elsayed, and Fiona Button, the actors in this production are numerous.

In this production, Down and Kay play multiple roles including writers, executive producers, and directors for the show. Tranter, along with Kate Crowther and Ryan Rasmussen from Bad Wolf, and Rebecca Ferguson from BBC, also serve as executive producers. Isabella Eklöf and Zoé Wittock are the directors, while Kathleen McCaffrey of Little Gems will take on an executive producer role for the upcoming season. This series is a joint production by Bad Wolf and HBO/BBC.
Previously announced, episodes seven and eight of “Industry’s” third season will continue to stream on Max at their regular 9 p.m. ET time slot every Sunday, starting from September 22nd and 29th respectively. However, these episodes won’t air on HBO until 10 p.m., after the premiere of the new DC miniseries “The Penguin.
