11 Bit Studios has finally released Frostpunk 2, their much-awaited sequel to the hit game Frostpunk. The official release date is September 20th, but those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition have early access to its frozen landscape. Unfortunately, some players are encountering significant problems such as missing save files, low frame rates, crashes, and DirectX errors that make the game unplayable. These issues persist even after the beta testing phase, causing concern among gamers.
Frostpunk 2 – Crashes, Screen Freeze, and other Errors
It’s a common predicament – almost every game launched recently seems to be grappling with similar difficulties. Games such as Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2, Black Myth: Wukong, and Final Fantasy XVI have all struggled initially on PC, and unfortunately, Frostpunk 2 is no different in this regard.
Although Frostpunk 2 doesn’t require extremely powerful hardware, its graphically intensive gameplay might lead to performance problems on your computer due to the diversity of hardware configurations among players. Regardless of developers’ efforts to optimize the game for multiple system configurations, some users may still experience performance challenges.
