As a die-hard fan of sci-fi thrillers who has witnessed the evolution of indie cinema over the years, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming release of “The Fix.” With its star-studded cast including Grace Van Dien, Daniel Sharman, and Clancy Brown, this film promises an electrifying ride through a post-apocalyptic Earth.

The independent film company, Gravitas Ventures, has bought the distribution rights for “The Fix,” a science fiction thriller, within the U.S., Canada, and certain international regions, featuring Grace Van Dien, known from “Stranger Things.

It will be released on Nov. 22 on digital and cable transactional video on demand.

Under the direction of Kelsey Egan, “The Fix” features an ensemble cast including Daniel Sharman, Keenan Arrison, Tina Redman, Robyn Rossouw, Tafara Nyatsanza, Nicole Fortuin, and Clancy Brown.

The narrative unfolds in a world on Earth plagued by a viral outbreak, centuries ahead, where wealth allows one to purchase immunity. However, the plot twists when a feral child accidentally ingests a novel designer drug at a party, unwittingly transforming into an unexpected research subject.

Egan expressed his enthusiasm by saying that our movie-making adventure started back in 2013, and now we can’t wait to let everyone experience this incredible journey. It’s quite remarkable for an independent production team to accomplish such grand action and visual effects, and we’re incredibly proud of the film’s expansive scale due to a diverse pool of talented contributors from around the world.

Danielle Gasher, Vice President of Acquisitions and International Sales at Gravitas, shared her excitement about Grace Van Dien’s stellar performance in the intriguing sci-fi production. She’s eager for audiences to experience this thrilling action movie when it hits the screens in November.

This production hails from Crave Pictures, with the involvement of Greig Buckle, Allison Friedman, Jeremy Walton, David Lyons, and Egan. Executive production credits go to African streaming platform Showmax, Moo Studios, and Van Dien.
