‘Shark Tank’ Names Kind Snacks Founder Daniel Lubetzky as First New Regular Investor in More Than 10 Years

As a seasoned moviegoer who has witnessed the transformation of countless characters from humble beginnings to towering successes, I can’t help but feel a surge of admiration for Daniel Lubetzky. This man, much like the protagonist in an inspiring biopic, started with a dream, Kind Snacks, and built it into a multi-billion dollar empire before selling it to Mars.

Daniel Lubetzky, the creator of Kind Snacks, will be making his debut as a permanent investor on “Shark Tank,” marking the show’s first addition to its investment panel in over a decade.

Lubetzky becomes a permanent member of the Season 16 lineup, joining Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O’Leary. Having previously appeared as a guest investor in Seasons 11 through 15, Lubetzky has made investments in Yellow Leaf Hammocks, FitFighter, Tandm Surf, Toast-It, and HummViewer on the show.

Besides founding Kind Snacks back in 2004 and later selling it to Mars in 2020, Dan Lubetzky is also the co-founder of the Builders Movement, an initiative aimed at civic engagement that he started together with Liev Schreiber, Katie Couric, and Lonnie Ali. Furthermore, he is the head of Camino Partners, an investment company.

The reality TV show ‘Shark Tank’ is co-produced by MGM Television and Sony Pictures Television. Among the executive producers are Mark Burnett, Clay Newbill, Yun Lingner, Max Swedlow, Phil Gurin and Brandon Wallace, as well as Cuban, Corcoran, Greiner, Herjavec, John, and O’Leary. The new season 16 premieres on October 18.

It’s a privilege to be involved in a project that persistently informs, amuses, and encourages unity among Americans through the shared goal of collaboration. I’m thrilled to join this witty, intelligent group of actors and production team. Above all, I can’t wait to collaborate with entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds as they strive for their opportunity to fulfill the American dream on ‘Shark Tank’.

In his role as a recurring guest shark over the past five seasons, Daniel has solidified his position among us, impressing us with his achievements. He is the self-made founder of a multi-billion dollar company and embodies all the qualities we seek in our fellow sharks. Moreover, he demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for assisting entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses. We are thrilled to have Daniel join our panel and eagerly anticipate collaborating with him in the future for many more seasons.
