Since REKA is still in its Early Access phase, this list isn’t complete. The Early Access version of REKA, launched on September 12, 2024, includes the prologue and the first chapter of the game. The developers have shared plans to release the remaining parts of the game once REKA is fully released, which is estimated to happen in 2025.

How to cook in REKA
You can use the oven in your cottage to cook all recipes in REKA. You will need to ensure that the fires in your oven are going – which can only be achived by putting wood into the space at the back of the oven.
If you don’t have any wood, you’ll need to go out and forage for some.
After placing some wood inside the stove, feel free to approach the front of it for an interactive experience. Here, you’ll be able to access your inventory containing three different items to use while cooking.
Once you choose the third ingredient that matches a known recipe’s criteria, your oven will autonomously begin cooking in REKA. Experimenting with various ingredient combinations may lead to the discovery of new recipes.
In every recipe, there’s a built-in timer visible within the transparent oven interface. When your dish is cooked to perfection, a message will pop up at the bottom left part of your screen signaling it’s ready.
At a time, you can only cook one recipe, but as another is being prepared, you can continue adding ingredients for the next one to be queued up and ready to start once the current one is finished. However, there should never be two recipes waiting or cooking simultaneously.
How to get ingredients in REKA
Ingredients can be found throughout the world in REKA:
- Forage from the wilderness.
- Buy from Bogdan or other trader NPCs in each village.
- Collected from your cottage.
Confused by that last one? To get eggs in REKA, you’ll need to go and get Baba Jaga’s chickens from her original farm and take them inside your cottage. Once you take a chicken inside, they become your pet, and you can collect eggs from them.
Here’s another option: Instead of buying eggs, you could take them from local farmers’ chickens if you come across a farm. If you fancy it, you can even use your crows to cook the eggs and scare off the chickens afterwards.
