Transformers One Final Trailer Teases Optimus Prime And Megatron's First Battle

As a seasoned gamer and Transformers fan with decades of memories etched into my hard drive (or was it cassette tapes?), I can hardly contain my excitement for “Transformers One“. The friendship-turned-feud between Orion Pax and D-16 has always been a fascinating aspect of the franchise’s lore, and to witness their first battle on the big screen is an opportunity I wouldn’t want to miss.

Previously, trailers for Transformers One emphasized the camaraderie between Orion Pax and D-16, their future selves being Optimus Prime and Megatron. However, in the latest film trailer, it seems that old friendships may no longer matter. The initial conflict between these longstanding adversaries is set to unfold.

In Transformers One, the story unfolds long before the Autobots and Decepticons’ Earthly battles. Here, the factions haven’t been established yet, but D-16 and Orion share a bond akin to brothers, despite their occasional disagreements. However, as their views on Cybertron’s future become more distinct, they undergo transformations that bring them closer to their familiar forms from the franchise.

In the upcoming film, Chris Hemsworth from Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor lends his voice to Orion Pax/Optimus Prime, while Brian Tyree Henry portrays D-16/Megatron. Scarlett Johansson voices Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key brings B-127/Bumblebee to life, Steve Buscemi takes on the role of Starscream, Laurence Fishburne plays Alpha Trion, and Jon Hamm stars as Sentinel Prime.

On the opening day, the initial 300 ticket holders for each location of Transformers: One will be awarded exclusive Shadow posters from Sonic Movie 3, as long as supplies last at participating cinemas on September 20th. Hurry and grab your tickets!
