Commander
Winter, Cynical Opportunist
Winter, Cynical Opportunist is a four-cost (two generic, one black, and one green) legendary creature with Deathtouch.
Whenever Winter attacks, mill three cards.
At the close of your turn, you can remove any number of cards from your graveyard that contain at least four distinct card types. If you choose to do so, place one of those cards as a permanent on the battlefield, with a mark indicating it’s indestructible.
It’s advisable for players to think about incorporating cards with “enters the battlefield” triggers, as this will enhance Winter’s Delirium effect. Including cards with Flashback could also be beneficial if Delirium doesn’t activate. This way, the controller can still utilize spells that were sent to the graveyard due to Winter’s attack trigger.
Creatures and Other Spells in MTG Death Toll Deck

Dryad Arbor
The Dryad Arbor is a terrestrial, non-magical creature that players can immediately deploy on the battlefield. Yet, it’s subject to a condition known as “summoning sickness,” which restricts its actions during the turn it was summoned. Additionally, this card has the ability: “Tap: Gain one green mana.
Gnarlwood Dryad
Gnarlwood Dryad is a one-cost (one green) creature with Deathtouch.
The Gnarlwood Dryad gains a strength boost of +2/+2 if there are at least four distinct categories of cards in your graveyard.
Haywire Mite
Haywire Mite is a one-cost (one generic) artifact creature.
When Haywire Mite dies, you gain 2 life.
{G}, Sacrifice Haywire Mite: Exile target noncreature artifact or noncreature enchantment.
Stitcher’s Supplier
The supplier from Stitcher is a single-cost creature (essentially, it costs only one card). When this supplier from Stitcher enters the battlefield or dies, you need to move three cards from the top of your deck to your graveyard.

Tap: Add one black or green.
Delirium – The Deathcap Cultivator possesses a “touch of death” as long as you have at least four distinct types of cards within your graveyard.
Grim Flayer
Grim Flayer is a two-cost (one black and one green) creature with Trample.
Every time Grim Flayer inflicts damage during a battle, take a peek at the topmost three cards from your library, placing as many as you wish into your graveyard, and keeping the rest in their original order on top of your library.
As a gamer, I’ve got a unique card here – the Grim Flayer. This guy gains a solid boost of +2/+2 as long as my graveyard contains four or more distinct card types. That means, every time I play a new card type, it could potentially pump up my trusty Flayer!
Obsessive Skinner

Solemn Simulacrum is a four-cost (four generic) artifact creature.
As a gamer, when Solemn Simulacrum hits the field, I can dive into my card collection and fish out a basic land card. I’ll plop it down on the battlefield, tapped, before giving my deck a good mix once more.
When Solemn Simulacrum dies, you may draw a card.
Ishkanah, Grafwidow
Ishkanah, Grafwidow is a five-cost (four generic and one green) with Reach.
In case the widow Grafwidow, Ishkanah enters the scene, and if you have at least four distinct types of cards in your graveyard, then generate three Green Spider creatures, each with 1 health point and a reach ability (2/0 in common terms), all token-made.
{6}{B}: Target opponent loses 1 life for each Spider you control.
Moldgraf Millipede
The Moldgraf Millipede is a creature that costs five units, with four being generic and one green. When this creature arrives on the battlefield, shuffle three cards from your library into your graveyard, and then give the Moldgraf Millipede +1/+1 counters for each creature card you have in your graveyard. (To move a card to your graveyard, place the top card of your deck there.)
Rendmaw, Creaking Nest
The “Rendmaw, Creaking Nest” costs 5 mana (3 colorless, 1 black, and 1 green), it has the abilities of Menace and Reach.
Whenever Rendmaw, Creaking Nest appears on the battlefield, and when you play a card that belongs to two or more categories, both players will produce a tapped 2/2 black Bird creature with flying ability. These tokens will be provoked for the remainder of the game, meaning they’ll attack if possible during each combat phase, and if they can, they’ll target a player other than you.
Noxious Gearhulk
The Noxious Gearhulk is an artifact creature that costs six (four of any color and two black), with the ability to intimidate other creatures known as Menace. When it enters the battlefield, you have the option to destroy another creature there. If this results in a creature being destroyed, you will receive life points equal to its toughness.
Titania, Nature’s Force
Titania, Nature’s Force is a six-cost (four generic and two green) legendary creature.
You may play Forests from your graveyard.
Whenever a Forest you control enters, create a 5/3 green Elemental creature token.
Whenever an Elemental you control dies, you may mill three cards.
Demolisher Spawn
Spawn of the Demolisher is an enchantment creature that costs 7 mana (5 colorless and 2 green), possessing the abilities of Trampling through defenses and being immediately playable on the battlefield.
Delirium: When Demolisher Spawn strikes, if there are at least four distinct card types in your graveyard, all other assaulting creatures temporarily gain a boost of +4 attack and +4 defense until the end of that turn.
Giant Adephage
The Seven-Cost Giant Adephage is a beastly creature that requires five common and two green resources to summon. It possesses the ability to trample over weak defenses. Whenever this Giant Adephage inflicts damage in combat on a player, a duplicate of it, known as a token, is spawned.
Hornet Queen
The Hornet Queen is a creature that costs seven units (four common and three green), possessing the abilities to fly and inflict lethal damage upon contact. Upon its arrival, it generates four 1/1 insect tokens, each endowed with flying and deathtouch traits in the green realm.
Moldgraf Monstrosity

Vile Mutilator
Vile Mutilator is a seven-cost (five generic and two black) creature with Flying and Trample.
As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice a creature or enchantment.
Whenever the Vile Mutilator appears on the battlefield, each of your opponents is required to discard a non-token enchantment they control first, followed by the sacrifice of a non-token creature they control next.
Grist, the Hunger Tide
Grist, the Ebb and Flow, is a legendary planeswalker that requires three resources (one colorless, one black, and one green) to activate.
So long as Grist, the Hunger Tide is absent from the battlefield, it functions as a 1/1 Insect creature with any additional types.
Produce a single token representing a black and green Insect creature. Then, remove a card from your deck. If the removed card is an Insect card, place a loyalty counter on Grist and continue this process.
−2: You may sacrifice a creature. When you do, destroy target creature or planeswalker.
−5: Each opponent loses life equal to the number of creature cards in your graveyard.
Ob Nixilis Reignited
Ob Nixilis Reignited is a five-cost (three generic and two black) legendary planeswalker.
+1: You draw a card and you lose 1 life.

Wrenn and Seven
Wrenn and Seven is a five-cost (three generic and two green) legendary planeswalker.
Show me the first four cards from your deck. Move all land cards shown onto your hand, while the others go into your graveyard.
0: Put any number of land cards from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
−3: Generate a Treefolk creature token that is green in color, has the “reach” ability, and its power and toughness are both determined by the number of lands you currently have under your control.
−8: Transfer all everlasting cards from your cemetery back to your hand. You acquire an emblem that states, “There is no limit to the number of cards you can hold in your hand.
Professor Onyx
Professor Onyx is a six-cost (four generic and two black) legendary planeswalker.
Enchantment (Aura) – Life’s Balance: Every time you play or duplicate an instant or sorcery card, each of your opponents suffers a loss of 2 life points while you simultaneously gain 2 life points.
1: You lose one health point. Flip over the topmost three cards from your deck. Place one in your hand and the remaining two in your discard pile.
In simpler terms, each player must give up the creature they control with the highest power, if any, during a battle or conflict.
−8: For each round, every competitor must discard one card. If they fail to do so, they will lose 3 points from their life total. This procedure is repeated 6 additional times.
Reanimate
The spell “Reanimate” costs one unit (in the color black), and when played, it brings a creature card from the graveyard back onto the battlefield under your control. However, you will lose life equivalent to the card’s mana value.
Grapple with the Past
Overcoming the Past is a two-part instant spell, costing one generic and one green mana. It forces you to discard three cards from the top of your deck (this is known as ‘mill’ three cards), then gives you the option to retrieve a creature or land card from your graveyard and put it back into your hand.
Grisly Salvage
As a passionate player, I can’t help but share my excitement about Grisly Salvage! This versatile instant card costs you two resources, one black and one green. In a swift action, you’re invited to peek at the top five cards of your library. Among those, you get to choose and keep either a creature or land card in your hand. The rest, unfortunately, will join your graveyard.
Inscription of Abundance
Inscription of Abundance is a two-cost (one generic and one green) instant spell.
Kicker {2}{G}
Choose one. If this spell was kicked, choose any number instead.
- Put two +1/+1 counters on target creature.
- Target player gains X life, where X is the greatest power among creatures they control.
- Target creature you control fights target creature you don’t control.
Mulch
The magic spell, costing you two units (one common and one green), is called Mulch. This spell allows you to peer at the topmost four cards from your deck. All land cards uncovered in this process get transferred into your hand, while the remaining cards end up in your graveyard.
Night’s Whisper
The enchantment “Night’s Whisper” costs two resources, one of which must be black mana, to cast. When you use it, you’ll draw two cards from your deck, but your life total will decrease by 2 points.
Rampant Growth
This two-cost sorcery spell, requiring one generic and one green resource, enables you to find a basic land card from your deck, place it on the battlefield as a tapped land, and then reorganize the remaining cards in your library (shuffling them).
Arachnogenesis
In simpler terms, Arachnogenesis is an immediate spell that costs three units (two common and one special green). It summons X/2 green Spider creature tokens with reach, where X equals the number of creatures attacking you at present. Additionally, it shields you from any combat damage this turn that wouldn’t be inflicted by Spider creatures.
Deluge of Doom
The “Deluge of Doom” is a sorcery spell that costs three mana (two common symbols and one black). For the remainder of the turn, all creatures will lose X power and X toughness, with X representing the variety of card types in your graveyard.
Formless Genesis
Formless Genesis is a three-cost (two generic and one green) kindred sorcery spell.

Putrefy
Transform this instant spell into a cost of three (one colorless, one black, and one green). Eliminate any targeted artifact or creature. Regeneration is not an option for them after this spell is cast.
Culling Ritual
The “Culling Ritual” is a spell that costs four resources (two of any color, one black, and one green). It eliminates every non-land permanent whose mana value is 2 or less. For each permanent you destroy in this manner, add either a black or green resource to your pool.

As a gamer, I can choose to unleash either half of my power on the battlefield. This spell functions as a sorcery, allowing me to pay the required mana cost to unlock a previously locked door.
Whenever cards are moved from your library to your graveyard, each opponent loses one life for every unique type of card amongst them.
Dim Oubliette is a five-cost (four generic and one black) enchantment room.
You can choose to open just one half of the door. On the battlefield, this door will only open if unlocked. Regarding the spell, you’re able to spend the required mana to unlock it.
Once you open this door, mill three cards, and subsequently bring a creature card back from your graveyard to the battlefield.
