The diverse lineup promises an intriguing exploration of our shared humanity, and I’m particularly excited about Sean Baker’s “Anora” and Paul Schrader’s “Oh, Canada.” It’s always a treat to witness the cinematic genius of these visionary directors.

For the 25th anniversary of the Woodstock Film Festival, they’ve revealed the schedule of movies to be shown from October 15-20. The films will be played in various locations around Woodstock, Vermont, Rosendale, New York, Kingston, New York, and Saugerties, New York.

Notable features in the Woodstock program encompass Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or winner “Anora,” Steve McQueen’s production “Blitz” from the director of “12 Years a Slave,” Paul Schrader’s “Oh, Canada,” and Amy Adams’ starring role in “Nightbitch.” Jesse Eisenberg’s “A Real Pain” marks the festival’s conclusion.
