As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of Castlevania experience under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2! The teaser alone has me itching to wield a whip and vanquish some undead foes.
Nocturne” is a separate animated series from Netflix’s original “Castlevania,” which debuted last September. The show was promptly renewed, and during Netflix’s Geeked Week, they announced that the new year will see the return of vampires and scares with the premiere of “Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2” in January.

With the addition of Alucard, Richter Belmont and his team of vampire slayers are now in a frantic battle against time, as Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who appears unstoppable, is pursuing the complete power of the goddess Sekhmet. If successful, she could bring eternal darkness and fear upon the world.
In a new development, “Castlevania: Nocturne” emerges from the creative minds of Castlevania veterans Kevin Kolde and Clive Bradley, who also take on the roles of creator and writer respectively. The directing responsibilities are shared between Sam Deats and Adam Deats. This series is being produced by Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation Studios handles the animation duties again.
Castlevania: Nocturne will be headed to Bluray on October 8.
