Steve-O Canceled Plan to Get Breast Implants for a Comedy Prank After Talking to a Transgender Person He Met on Surgery Day: ‘It’s Not All Fun and Games’

As a longtime fan of Steve-O‘s antics, I must admit that I was initially thrilled to hear about his latest stunt involving breast implants for his upcoming live tour. However, upon reflection and after reading about the heartfelt conversation he had with a transgender grocery store clerk, my excitement has significantly dwindled.

In a recent conversation with Consequence, Steve-O – known from “Jackass” – shared that he had initially considered getting temporary breast implants as part of a prank setup for his upcoming live tour, titled “The Super Dummy Tour”. The concept was to transform himself into a woman and subsequently deceive groups of men on the street.

Steve-O stated, “I was just 10 hours away from undergoing surgery, but unfortunately, it didn’t take place. The operation was scheduled for eight in the morning. However, at 10:00 PM the previous day, I received a call informing me that the anesthesiologist had withdrawn due to discovering it was a stunt I was doing. This led to a series of events where the doctor refused to be involved, and they struggled to find another medical center to perform the procedure.

The following day found me strolling through a grocery store, and as I approached the checkout, I noticed the cashier was transgender. Intrigued by this, I decided to share my audacious scheme – to undergo breast augmentation surgery, then shave off my body hair and erase my tattoos. My intention? To attend a motorcycle rally, flirt with men there, remove my helmet, and unveil my true identity – all in the hopes of understanding their comfort level with transgender individuals.

Steve-O clarified his actions by stating, “I was aware of my purpose and my goal, and it never intended to harm anyone. I was merely aiming for humor. I had performed numerous preliminary shows to gauge the audience’s response, and several transgender individuals supported my stunt afterwards. It would have been a diverse reaction, with some finding it acceptable and others not.

The employee, in this case, belonged to the group that engaged in deceitful actions, admitting that “impersonating a woman with the intention of misleading others, followed by mockery, and spreading hatred towards transgender individuals – such behavior was clearly unacceptable.

Furthermore, the clerk explained their difficulty accessing bathroom facilities at their workplace and mentioned that approximately 28 states could potentially imprison them for possessing an ID identifying as female. They also spoke about politicians attempting to confine them in internment camps. It was quite disheartening hearing about the intense oppression they faced.

In this scenario, Steve-O decided against pursuing his idea of getting breast implants, which made him consider it from a different perspective. This time, he thought, “Wow, it might not be as amusing or carefree as I previously thought, especially when it comes to the pranks.

Steve-O, well-known for his “Jackass” antics, initially disclosed in July his intention to undergo breast augmentation. This autumn, he’ll be embarking on “The Super Dummy Tour,” which will be shown in cinemas across the U.S. To read his entire interview, visit Consequence’s website.
