Mena Suvari-Starring ‘All You Need Is Blood’ to Launch on KINO Studio (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned cinephile who has witnessed the evolution of horror-comedy genre, I am thrilled to learn about the upcoming release of “All You Need Is Blood.” Having grown up watching Mina Suvari in iconic films like “American Pie,” it’s fascinating to see her take on a different role in this unique zombie horror-comedy.

The rights for showing the comedy-horror zombie movie “All You Need Is Blood,” starring Mina Suvari, in North America, have been obtained by Level 33 Entertainment.

On October 19th, the company intends to debut the movie on the KINO Studio app. After its initial screening on KINO, the film will be accessible on standard Video-on-Demand platforms.

The movie made its debut at the Sitges Film Festival last year and has since been successful in film festivals specializing in this genre, even taking home the Fangoria Award at Make Believe Seattle.

Bucky Le Boeuf’s debut film, titled ‘All You Need Is Blood,’ tells the story of a 16-year-old aspiring filmmaker named Bucky, who yearns to be the next renowned arthouse director. His life takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious meteor strikes his backyard and transforms his lackluster father into a bloodthirsty zombie. Seizing this bizarre opportunity, Bucky and his friends decide to create their own horror masterpiece, featuring his undead dad as the star. However, they soon discover that filming with actual zombies is more challenging than anticipated, especially when Bucky’s aversion to blood becomes a significant obstacle.

Mena Suvari, known for “American Pie,” plays the role of a prominent actress, whereas Logan Riley Bruner from “Stranger Things” takes on the characters of Bucky, and Eddie Griffin is cast as a devout detective in this production.

Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, and Jesse Korman from Yale Entertainment, along with Russ Posternak of Post Films, have collaborated on the production of “All You Need Is Blood.” They previously worked together on the indie box office hit “Becky” and its sequel “The Wrath of Becky.” Other executive producers for this project include Clay Pecorin, Russell Geyser, Brian S. Unger, Eric Broughton, Roz Rothstein, Michael J. Rothstein, Nicholas Donnermeyer, Will Hirschfeld, Jason Kringstein, Scott Levenson, Jeffrey Tussi, and David Nazar.

KINO Studio functions as an interactive social streaming service, marketed as such. It serves as a valuable resource for filmmakers, offering data analysis and a strategic tool to connect with their viewers. This platform enables fans to interact closely with artists via immersive screenings, exclusive backstage access, and a lively environment reminiscent of TikTok but specifically tailored to films.

Level 33 Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based company, specializes in amplifying unique perspectives within independent film. They distribute content across multiple platforms such as cinemas, home entertainment, and streaming services. Notably, they’ve recently obtained the following productions: “East Bay,” a dark comedy featuring Constance Wu from “Fresh Off the Boat” and “Crazy Rich Asians”; supernatural horror film “The Shade”; and Christopher Kahunahana’s “Waikiki,” set for both theatrical and digital release.
