‘Dallas’ Star Linda Gray Pitching TV Movie Where She’d Play a Ghost Haunting Southfork Ranch (EXCLUSIVE)

As a die-hard fan who grew up watching the iconic series “Dallas” and had the privilege of witnessing the extraordinary performances of Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy, I am absolutely thrilled to hear about their potential reunion on the big screen! The idea of them playing poltergeists at Southfork Ranch, a location that holds such an enchanting place in our collective TV memory, is nothing short of delightful.

Actress Linda Gray, best known for her role in “Dallas,” has once again collaborated with television movie producer Larry Thompson to propose a chilling film centered around Southfork Ranch – the authentic location that was the backdrop for the popular 1980s prime-time soap. Previously, they had worked together on the successful Lifetime TV production “Ladies of the 80s: A Divas Christmas” last December.

On this occasion, Gray and Thompson are proposing a new project where they depict characters as ghosts residing at Southfork Ranch, a role potentially shared with Patrick Duffy from “Dallas”. However, it’s important to note that these characters are entirely distinct from their previous roles in “Dallas”. Interestingly, Southfork Ranch serves as an actual filming and tourism location, making its appearance authentic. Although there may be some witty allusions to “Dallas”, the storyline is independent of it.

As a seasoned movie reviewer who’s walked the halls of Hollywood and penned my tales as both a former producer for Hallmark Channel’s “Home and Family” and a tabloid reporter (as chronicled in my memoir, “When You Step Upon a Star”), I found myself captivated by the enchanting holiday movie titled “Ghostly Christmas Mischief.

If Gray and Duffy act together, it would signify another reunion for the “Dallas” cast members, having previously appeared on the original CBS series from 1978-1993, and then the TNT revival that aired from 2012 to 2014. However, the show was terminated following the demise of star Larry Hagman.

The beloved city of “Dallas” continues to hold a special place in fans’ hearts, and it will once again be the center of attention as a cast reunion event is scheduled at Southfork from October 25 to 27. Notable actors like Gray and Duffy are anticipated to grace this occasion. Previously, another “Dallas” reunion took place in Burbank earlier this year in March.
