Initially, it’s important to note that we currently have 12 official languages supported: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. If your language isn’t listed, consider joining our Discord channel to collaborate on creating a translation community. In case your preferred language is already available and you can’t switch to it, there’s an easy solution for that as well.

If you can’t change your language, there is an official fix.

  1. Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame and rename the folder.
  2. Now, run the game, to create a new one.
  3. Next, from the renamed folder, copy Saved\SaveGames to the freshly created FactoryGame.
  4. You should be able to change the language now.

Should you encounter any technical issues, it might be helpful to temporarily deactivate your modifications. Often, following significant updates, mods may not function properly until they’ve been updated as well. This can lead to several complications.
