It’s been an exhilarating four-year journey since Early Access began, and the game has grown exponentially in terms of content and depth. The new ghost types, maps, gameplay changes, and equipment system overhaul have all added layers of excitement that I eagerly anticipate exploring further.
Currently, the cost of Phasmophobia will rise to $19.99, reflecting the substantial amount of content and gameplay hours that have been added since it began Early Access. This is the first price adjustment for the game, a change that was initially announced in July.
According to Kinetic Games, they believe that the increase they’ve proposed is reasonable, considering the significant expansion in content and gameplay time provided over the past nearly four years since the Early Access launch.
starting from September 6th, 2024, the cost of #Phasmophobia will be raised to $19.99 USD, £16.75 GBP, or €19.50 EUR. As previously stated in our July update, this price adjustment reflects the substantial content and playtime enhancements incorporated into the game since its Early Access launch.

It appears that most fans have embraced the updates to the game, as there’s been a significant influx of new content since its launch. Kinetic Games has introduced various types of ghosts and maps, substantially revised the prestige and other gameplay aspects, and even redesigned the entire equipment system. Notably, they’re still working on adding more content before the game’s console debut.
