As a cinephile who grew up during the golden age of indie rock, I was instantly intrigued by the news of “Pavements,” directed by Alex Ross Perry and produced by Robert Greene. Having spent my teenage years immersed in the music scene, the blend of a documentary about Pavement with a scripted narrative, musical, and metatextual elements is nothing short of exhilarating.
