Alison Brie to Play Evil-Lyn in ‘Masters of the Universe’ Movie

As a movie-goer who’s spent countless hours flipping through channels, I must admit that the casting of Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn in the “Masters of the Universe” live-action adaptation has me feeling like I just found the ultimate Power Sword!

As a cinephile penning my thoughts, I’m thrilled to share that I, too, am part of this stellar cast, lending my talents to the live-action adaptation of “Masters of the Universe” produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films. Alison Brie, much like myself, is now stepping into this epic universe

Brie will portray the character Evil-Lyn in the production, working alongside Nicholas Galitzine (assuming the role of He-Man) and Camila Mendes (portraying Teela)

Director Travis Knight (“Kubo and the Two Strings,” “Bumblebee”) has been tapped for the job to direct the live-action movie adaptation of the well-known franchise. Chris Butler is crafting the screenplay, following preliminary drafts penned by David Callaham and Aaron and Adam Nee. Robbie Brenner from Mattel Films, along with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch from Escape Artists are taking on the role of producers

Brie, who is managed by both WME and Rise Management, had her upcoming role in a film announced by The Hollywood Reporter. They were the first to break the casting news
