Christopher T. Young Joins Weather Channel as CFO

Young to The Weather Channel as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Allen Media Group. His impressive resume, spanning over three decades in finance and operations within the media sector, is a testament to his expertise and tenacity.


Former Entravision Communications employee, Christopher T. Young, has taken on the role of Chief Financial Officer at The Weather Channel. In addition to this position, he will also assume the role of Executive Vice President within the parent company of the cable network, Allen Media Group

young will work from The Weather Channel’s offices in both Atlanta and Los Angeles, as those are the locations where Allen Media Group has its headquarters. He reports directly to the CEO, Byron Allen, and also to Christopher Malone, who holds the positions of CFO and Executive Vice President at Allen Media Group

Additionally, he has occupied senior positions at Bank of Montreal, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, and Chase Manhattan Bank
