All Confirmed Playable Characters in Super Mario Party Jamboree

As a long-time Mario enthusiast who’s grown up with these iconic characters since their debut, I must say that Super Mario Party Jamboree has truly outdone itself with its diverse and extensive roster of playable characters! From childhood favorites like Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi to more recent additions such as Pauline and Ninji, it’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane while also offering fresh faces for newcomers.

The lively gathering of Super Mario Party, titled Jamboree, offers more than 20 characters to journey across the game boards with. In this event, you’ll find familiar faces like Mario and Luigi, but also meet newcomers making their first appearance in the Mario Party series. Additionally, characters who have previously graced our screens in earlier series installments are back as well! Let’s dive right into the roster of playable characters currently available in Super Mario Party Jamboree!

Who Are All The Playable Characters in Super Mario Party Jamboree?

At the time of writing, all the Playable Charaacters in Super Mario Party Jamboree include:

For the very first time within a Mario Party game, participants will have the opportunity to control characters such as Pauline and Ninji. Originally introduced in the Donkey Kong Arcade, Pauline was initially overshadowed by Princess Peach, but has since made numerous appearances in various Mario games. These include Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Tennis Aces, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Initially, Ninji appeared in the game Super Mario Bros. 2, and he’s been seen in numerous other Mario games since then. Mario Party Jamboree is where we find him for the 31st time in a Super Mario game, but this is his premiere in a Mario Party series.

In addition to this, the new Mario Party game includes characters that haven’t been seen for a while in earlier titles. For instance, Toad and Toadette are playable characters for the first time since Star Rush, which was launched in 2016 on the 3DS. Furthermore, Spike, who hasn’t been playable since Mario Party 10 released in 2015, also makes a comeback in this game.

As I’m putting this down, I can’t say for certain if the character lineup in Super Mario Party Jamboree is set in stone. But fear not! If there are any fresh updates or announcements, I’ll be sure to keep this info updated for fellow fans like myself.

In summary, all the playable characters in Super Mario Party Jambree confirmed so far are included. There’s room for Nintendo to introduce a new character later on, but for now, the lineup appears strong, including characters from different Mario games. Moreover, unlike Mario Kart 8 where we have multiple versions of the same character with gold or silver skins, we don’t seem to be getting all Bowser’s kids in repetitive forms this time around.

The third Mario Party game for the Nintendo Switch, titled “Super Mario Party Jamboree,” is now available. This title boasts over a hundred mini-games and introduces several fresh and familiar game boards from the series. Much like its predecessors, it’s likely to strain friendships in pursuit of victory.
