Deadlock - Playtest End Date Explained

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that Deadlock has certainly piqued my interest! The blend of MOBA and hero shooter elements is intriguing, and the third-person perspective adds a unique twist to the formula. Comparisons to gaming titans like Smite, Overwatch 2, and Team Fortress 2 are certainly not unwarranted.

This game combines elements of Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) and hero shooter games, viewed from a third-person perspective. The objective is to capture the enemy’s base and destroy the character known as the Patron residing there. The game may remind you of other free-to-play titles like Smite, Overwatch 2, or Team Fortress 2. However, it stands out with its popularity. In this guide, we tackle the question about the duration of the playtest and explain how alpha testing works. Currently, Valve is offering an opportunity for players to test the game. Many testers are curious as to how long the playtest will last.

Deadlock – Playtest End Date Explained

At the moment, we are in the process of playtesting Deadlock, which means some players get to experience the game. To be more specific, these are PC gamers for now, but there’s a possibility that console gamers might join the fun too! However, access isn’t available to everyone just yet. It requires an invitation to participate.

An interesting question is how the alpha itself works and when it ends. And its end is basically every day. It also all depends on the region where you play. In the lower right corner of the main screen, you can see the hours when it is possible to play in your area. So, to summarize, each day a region has a time schedule in which it can test the product.

From my gaming perspective, it seems like the playtest will carry on until the game officially drops. So, if things stay as they are, there’s no need to rush wrapping up your playtesting.
