Best TV shows of 2026 so far, including Daredevil, Invincible, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Now that we’re over a quarter of the way through 2026, TopMob has compiled a list of our favorite shows so far this year, and we’ll keep adding to it as new great content becomes available.

2026 looks like it will be a great year for TV. We’re already anticipating exciting new seasons of superhero shows like Invincible Season 4 and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, with more like Spider-Noir and Vision Quest on the way.

Game of Thrones is popular again, thanks to shows like A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which offers a fresh take on the world of Westeros, and the upcoming third season of House of the Dragon, set to premiere this summer.

I’m so excited to share where my favorite shows are ranking for 2026! I’ve been keeping track, and I can’t wait to see how shows like Industry, Scrubs, Beef, and Paradise are doing in the Top 10 so far. Let’s check it out!

10. Scrubs Season 10

Channel: ABC
Cast: Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke

Okay, so the show basically follows JD as he steps up to be Chief of Medicine at Sacred Heart. It’s cool seeing him, Elliot, and Turk navigate their thirties and forties, and they’re also teaching a whole new group of interns. It’s funny watching them all figure things out, both professionally and personally!

As a huge Scrubs fan, I was so thrilled to see the Sacred Heart crew back! Even after 16 years, the revival totally captured everything I loved about the original – the hilarious comedy, the emotional moments, and the genuine heart. The jokes were flying as fast as ever, JD and Turk’s friendship is still the gold standard, and that twist with Dr. Cox? Wow. It was really powerful and definitely makes me want to see Season 11 happen!

9. Bait

Channel: Prime Video
Cast: Riz Ahmed, Guz Khan, Ritu Arya

The story centers on Shah Latif, played by Riz Ahmed, who experiences significant criticism after trying out for the part of James Bond. This backlash comes from the media, movie fans, and even people close to him, like his family and friends.

“Bait” is a clever and funny show that makes fun of the movie business, the downsides of becoming famous, and what it’s like to grow up as a British Pakistani in London. Riz Ahmed not only created the show but also stars in it, and it feels very personal and real, likely because he’s drawing from his own life. Plus, Guz Khan is fantastic and steals every scene as Shah’s amusing cousin who drives a taxi.

8. How to Get to Heaven From Belfast

Channel: Netflix
Cast: Roisin Gallagher, Sinead Keenan, Caoilfhionn Dunne, Packy Lee

The story follows three friends who haven’t spoken in years. They come back together in Belfast after learning about the death of someone they all knew, and during the reunion, they discover hidden truths that connect their shared history to a surprising current event.

We highly recommend this show because it was created by Lisa McGee, the incredibly talented writer behind Derry Girls. Like that show, it’s genuinely hilarious, and the added mystery makes for eight episodes of pure enjoyment.

7. Beef Season 2

Channel: Netflix
Cast: Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny

Season 2 of Beef centers on the aftermath of a fight between a country club’s General Manager and his wife, as seen by two staff members, and how that event dramatically impacts everyone involved.

Season 2 of Beef isn’t a continuation of the first season’s story; it introduces a completely new cast of characters and a fresh plot. Like the first season, it blends dark humor with thrilling suspense, this time focusing on the divide between the wealthy and those struggling to get by. Carey Mulligan delivers a funny performance as a privileged British woman who begins to suspect her husband isn’t who she thought he was, but Cailee Spaeny truly shines. Her character starts off quiet and unassuming, but gradually reveals surprising depths, leading to a remarkably unexpected finale.

6. Paradise Season 2

Channel: Hulu
Cast: Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Shailene Woodley

Season 2 of Paradise moves the action outside the bunker, focusing on Xavier’s search for his wife and the group’s efforts to uncover the mystery surrounding ‘Alex’.

The first season of Paradise kept viewers guessing with a central mystery and a huge surprise. The second season delved into complex science fiction, hinting at time manipulation with strange occurrences like nosebleeds and coincidences – a plotline that could potentially save the world. While the eight episodes raised many questions, the upcoming third season promises to bring the story to a satisfying conclusion.

5. The Pitt Season 2

Channel: HBO
Cast: Noah Wyle, Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Fiona Dourif

The Pitt’s second season follows the fast-paced and emotional lives of doctors and nurses at a busy Pittsburgh trauma center. Each day brings new patients, challenging medical cases, and intense pressure for the staff. Beyond the medical drama, the show explores the personal struggles of its characters and tackles relevant issues like immigration enforcement, healthcare costs, and the growing influence of artificial intelligence, making it both entertaining and thought-provoking.

4. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Channel: HBO
Cast: Peter Claffey, Dexter Sol Ansell, Finn Bennett, Bertie Carvel

Okay, so this new game, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, takes place way before my time – it’s set after House of the Dragon but before Game of Thrones. You play as Ser Duncan the Tall, and basically, the story follows him and his squire, Egg, as they try to get into this big tournament at Ashford. It seems like it’s all about the journey to compete and what happens along the way.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms stands out from other epic fantasy stories by focusing on a more intimate and character-driven narrative. The relationship between the two main characters, Dunk and Egg, is both endearing and emotionally powerful, leading to an exciting and satisfying conclusion.

3. Invincible Season 2

Channel: Prime Video
Voice cast: Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Gillian Jacobs

Season 4 of Invincible begins the story of the Viltrumite War, as seen in the original comics. Mark Grayson, the superhero Invincible, is feeling burnt out, but the unexpected arrival of the powerful Grand Regent Thragg forces him to keep fighting.

As a huge fan, I have to say Invincible is still amazing! It’s got incredible superhero fights, but what I really love is how it takes the whole genre apart and looks at it in a new way. Honestly, the first few episodes of Season 4 felt a little slow, focusing too much on things happening around the main story. But once the war between the Coalition and the Viltrumites really kicked off, it was everything I’d hoped for – pure, awesome Invincible!

2. Industry Season 4

Channel: BBC/HBO
Cast: Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Ken Leung

In Season 4 of Industry, Harper finds herself unexpectedly teaming up with Eric, and Henry begins working with the questionable tech mogul, Whitney Halberstram. Both ventures quickly hit roadblocks and prove to be challenging.

The show continues to improve with each season, and Season 4 really delivered. It took the world of high finance and blended it with the dramatic tension of Shakespeare and the suspense of a classic thriller like Michael Clayton. The strange connection between Harper and Eric was even more complex this season, and Henry’s turbulent journey kept viewers hooked.

1. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

Channel: Netflix
Cast: Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll

Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again focuses on Mayor Fisk, also known as Kingpin, tightening his grip on New York City through a task force designed to stop vigilantes. Meanwhile, Matt Murdock, as Daredevil, fights back, teaming up with both former foes and allies.

Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again focuses the conflict squarely on the rivalry between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, as they battle for control of New York City. This season is notably political, drawing inspiration from current events, and delivers compelling character development for both Daredevil and Kingpin, making it a standout season in the superhero genre.
